Exit Strategy is a transmedia production company founded by Ryan Koo and Zack Lieberman.

Ryan Koo and Zack Lieberman created the award-winning online series The West Side, winner of the 2008 Webby Award for Best Drama Series. The series was written, directed, produced, shot, edited, and designed by Koo and Lieberman, who were named two of Filmmaker Magazine’s 25 New Faces of Independent Film; the magazine heralded The West Side as “ingenious low-budget independent filmmaking that just happens to be viewable only on the Web.”

With professional backgrounds in film production, graphic design, and web development, Koo and Lieberman together founded the transmedia production company Exit Strategy, which focuses on telling engaging, substantive stories and designing rich, cross-platform experiences. Prior to that they were Senior Designer and Senior Producer at MTV Networks, respectively, and were instrumental in the design and development of numerous online projects, including a personalized music video recommendation portal, a MTV News interview franchise, and the network-wide online music player for MTV, VH1, CMT, and Rhapsody. The duo also designed and produced a bleeding-edge multi-angle online concert series for MTV, and more recently directed two episodes of the New York arts and culture show RADAR for WBP Labs and the online/mobile video portal Babelgum.

Koo and Lieberman are represented by Jon Zimelis at the United Talent Agency (310.776.8223).
